Don Mueang Airport Terminal 1
Don Muang Airport Terminal 1 is home of all the international flights plus some domestic flights.
Levels
Don Muang Airport Terminal 1 consists of the following levels:
First level
Arrivals Hall. The Arrivals area is split into the International Arrivals (on the north) and the Domestic Arrivals (on the south).
The International gates are 1 to 14, 21 to 27, while the domestic gates are 31 to 37 and 41 to 48.
Immediately after both passport and visa control, there are three baggage belts, the baggage claim area, and free access to the Arrivals Hall.
In the Arrivals area there are many services available such as water fountains, currency exchange and banking services, toilets, public telephones, information desks, duty free stores, lost and found, post office, hotel reservation counter, baggage storage, meeting point, ground transportation options (car rental, bus and taxi) and food and drink concessions.
Third level
Departures Hall. The Departures area is yet again split into the International Departures hall, located in the north, and the Domestic Departures Hall, located in the south.
Prior to the boarding area and the security checkpoint in both halls, there are the check-in counters and also the airlines counters.
After security, in the Departures hall, in the International side there is the immigration counter and a large duty free shop, with several amenities regarding food, drink and retail, toilets, public phones, an ATM, barber shop, VIP lounges, among others.
In the domestic side, you will find plenty of services such as food, drink and retail concessions, among VIP and special airport lounges (Sanghas and Samaneras lounge), a Muslim prayer room, an ATM, etc.
On the far south of the terminal, after security, there is the access to the boarding gates and also to transfer flights.
